Lil Wayne might be stepping in front of the camera later this year, but reports suggest he’s also been playing the action villain in real life.

According to TMZ , the rapper and his entourage are under police investigation for reportedly attacking an overly persistent fan. Alfredo Marino allegedly asked Lil Wayne for a photograph, had his request refused, then attempted to take a covert picture of the rapper from his car. According to Marino, Wayne walked over saying “Don’t you know all it takes is a word and these motherf**kers are going to f**k you up?”.

Marino was subsequently hit across the head with a skateboard, and left with concussion and bleeding. Marino’s lawyer Craig Chisvin said: “My client will enforce all of his rights under the law and all individuals responsible for this outrageous incident will be blamed for the damages that my client has suffered and continues to suffer.”

Wayne’s click have been accused of this sort of thing before: a similar allegation of skateboard-led assault was made by a photographer back in April in Miami.
