The dubwise Deepchord presents: Echospace project is set to ride again.
The combo of Rob Modell and Steve Hitchell released the excellent The Coldest Season in 2007 on Modern Love. The pair specialise in spacious, glacial techno, so delicate as to be barely there. The duo have now announced their first release since 2010’s Liumin.
As Resident Advisor report, the new LP is the OST to forthcoming indie film Silent World (produced by Modell). The record promises “hydrophones, piezo-electric transducers, wind harps, and binaural dummy-head microphones”.
Silent World will arrive in a triple 12″ pack on coloured vinyl on echospace [detroit] The tracklisting is below (note: the CD will conflate the tracks into a single extended piece). The record drops on June 17.
