When The Sun newspaper isn’t ruining people’s lives, it’s often found making things up (not that the two are mutually exclusive, of course).
This morning’s scoop on Kanye West, however, is too good to pass up. An anonymous source has told the paper that the mad genius rapper and G.O.O.D. Music leader is “obsessed” with animal noises, and intends to produce an album “almost entirely” made up of them.
“He’s become so obsessed with roars, barks and jungle noises”, explains the source (not The Source, we should emphasise), that he’s “telling mates this is his next ingenious plan.” Obviously our initial thoughts were that this is definitely made up (that or the source simply overheard a Young Jeezy guest verse and mistook it for a pitched-down wildebeest), but think about it: what was your reaction in mid-2007 when you heard that Kanye was planning an album made almost entirely of Auto-Tune? Exactly.
Something that definitely is happening, meanwhile, is the G.O.O.D. Music album, Cruel Summer. As reported earlier, you can expect it on August 7. Stream the group’s controversial remix of Chief Keef’s ‘I Don’t Like Below’.
