Swedish House Mafia have announced that they are splitting up.

Following the news that Aussie drum’n’bass unit Pendulum are finally calling it a day, the festival house trio of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso revealed on their website that their current tour – which includes tonight’s Hackney Weekender, and closes in Sweden (where else?) on November 24 – will be their last.

In a short statement website, the three sign off by thanking “every single one of you that came with us on this journey … we came, we raved, we loved.” Don’t forget, they also fucked some clubs in the pussy.

Presumably Axwell and Ingrosso will now focus on their solo material while Angello learns to DJ. Sorry, couldn’t resist!
