Use Spotify (and don’t think it’s the devil?) Wish it was available on Blackberry? Wish no more.

The streaming giants have now made their program available as an application for Blackberry’s App Store. The download will be free – though, naturally, you’ll need a premium account to make full use of it – and is available as of today. Music Week report that Spotify’s Global Head of Hardware Partnerships describes the move thus: “With the launch of the Spotify BlackBerry app on App World, we are delighted to be able to extend the reach of our app to millions of BlackBerry users across the world.”

Martyn Mallick, VP, Global Alliances & Business Development at RIM, added: “With instant access to a rich catalogue of millions of tracks, the Spotify app makes it easy for customers to find, listen to and share music with one another while on the move. Communications and sharing are at the heart of the BlackBerry user experience and the social discoverability element of the Spotify app perfectly aligns with what our customers want.”
