Shock news: ATP Concerts LTD has gone into liquidation.

The company is responsible for the All Tomorrow’s Parties and I’ll Be Your Mirror festivals, as well as a host of one-off concert events. The Stool Pigeon report that the organization’s creditors met on June 28 under section 98 of the 1986 Insolvency Act. A new company, Willwal LTD, was set up to manage upcoming events on May 31.

In a Twitter post, the company suggested that forthcoming concerts will still be going ahead as normal: “To address the rumours going around, there are some changes currently happening within the company, however none of the currently scheduled events or future events will be affected. To reaffirm, there’s nothing to panic or worry about, all future shows definitely going ahead, more info to follow.”

Let’s hope these “changes” are as technical and cosmetic as the message appears to make out. A statement is due later today – more to follow when we have it.
