The Warehouse Project has announced its first two shows of the season, and they’re both winners.
The Manchester institution will return on Friday September 28 with Rinse’s 18th birthday party. Rinse Golden Girl Katy B will top an absolute beast of a line-up. Skream and Diplo will bring in the casual punters, and Boy Better Know will no doubt be putting their crossover material aside for a rowdy and invigorating grime session. Pearson Sound and Ben UFO will be representing the Hessle Audio stable, and Jackmaster and Oneman will offer eclectic and diverse thrills. This line-up goes on and on, to be honest: Brackles, Elijah & Skilliam, T. Williams, Loefah, Roska, Joker, Preditah, Artwork, Zinc, Plastician and Icicle are just a selection of the acts playing.
Saturday 29, meanwhile, will host the Welcome To The Warehouse party. It’s an eclectic affair, featuring a headlining set from Nicolas Jaar‘s exploratory live ensemble. Four Tet will be offering a typically venturesome DJ set, and Seth Troxler, Julio Bashmore and Maya Jane Coles & Heidi will keep the house contingent happy. Joy Orbison will go B2B with a returning Jackmaster, Jacques Greene will do his glossy thing, and Ben Klock will keep things fast and tough. Andrew Weatherall, Bicep, Scuba, Maceo Plex, Justin Robertson, Soul Clap and Kyrsko & Greg Lord fill out the bill.
The full line-up for the Warehouse Sessions series will be released at 9am on July 25. Head over to the Warehouse Project website for tickets and further information.
