For the second time in 24 hours, meet Cid Rim

Yesterday afternoon, we featured a splendid promo video, pulled together as a teaser for the Austrian producer’s forthcoming debut LP for LuckyMe. If you enjoyed it, you’re in luck: a second advance cut is now doing the rounds.

Pitchfork are hosting the wonderful ‘Danger Ranger’, which preserves the delicacy of ‘Log Out Of Bounds’ but adds the sort of jittery percussion work you might expect from an affiliate of the restless Glasgow collective. It’s not a million miles away from former Rim collaborator Dorian Concept (cobbling together an album for Ninja Tune as we speak), but it’s also got plenty of its own charm. Click here to listen.
