A week after the violent incidents at their Dublin show, Swedish House Mafia have had yet another show marred by a series of stabbings.

Nine people were stabbed in a series of scuffles at the trio’s Phoenix Park show on Saturday July 7, with one victim being left in a critical condition. Disappointingly, similar attacks have also taken place at the band’s Milton Keynes stop-off this Saturday.

NME report that three people were stabbed during the trio’s show at the Milton Keynes Bowl. Two 23 year old men and one 24 year old man were attacked over the course of the gig. One of the former suffered a punctured lung, and is still being treated in hospital. Thankfully, the other two sustained less serious injuries. Three men were also arrested on charges of drug possession with intent to supply.

Police are currently searching for a man in his early 20s, wearing a black jacket, black jogging bottoms and a blue Nike T-Shirt. Detective Chief Inspector Justin Fletcher said: “This appears to have been an isolated incident, and overall we are very pleased with how the event passed off, but we would like to trace the person responsible for this assault.” Let’s hope the remainder of the group’s farewell tour proceeds without any more comparable episodes.
