BNJMN’s take on Brooklyn outfit Bear In Heaven’s twinkling, Balearic ‘Kiss Me Crazy’ isn’t afraid of sounding a little dated. Preset saxophones, piano stabs and some boogie-friendly tremolo are key ingredients in this winsome summer jam. There is admittedly, a touch of Cafe del Mar about proceedings, but BNJMN charges ‘Kiss Me Crazy’ with a sincerity that prevents things limping into the realms of the anodyne.
