The duo’s instrumental beat tape, Stay Calm, is due out on August 7.

Sweet Valley lets Wavves-frontman Nathan Williams and his brother Kynan explore instrumental hip-hop while under the safety of Fool’s Gold’s beach umbrella. After the release of their beat tape, they’ll head out on the road with rap veterans GZA and Killer Mike; Brooklyn punks Bear Hands are along for the more orthodox Wavves fans in the audience.

The duo has also released a new track. ‘Suzuka 9 Hours’ melts video game diversions into a swirling, funhouse melody. Like the previously-released ‘Total Carnage,’ the song chills in the shallow end of the pool, content to playfully toy with summertime samples.
