The Charlotte-based duo prep an EP of bass concoctions for Distal’s Embassy Recordings.

Comprised of Jorge Xavier Fernandez and Petey Evans, Clicks & Whistles first made waves last year with their surging dedication to vodka and juice, ‘Cranberry Goose.’ The duo will return to Embassy Recordings for Serious Bidness, an EP of similarly rap-inflected bass jams.

Dirty South samples and soaring video game synths slice through the air on these tracks, proving that in the brightest corners of the burgeoning “trap” movement, the T in trap is silent. Serious Bidness will be released digitally on September 17 with a vinyl release to follow; a preview and the tracklist are below.
