The gorgeous video for ‘Get Free’ is more like a documentary.

The downtempo, no-frills reggae of ‘Get Free’ is a departure for Diplo’s electro-dancehall soundsystem; the video is a similarly muted affair. Shot in Jamaica, it’s a slice-of-life video featuring plenty of dancers, parties, a boxing match, and even a horse race. Also included is footage of Dirty Projectors’ Amber Coffman, who contributed airy vocals to the song. Watch the video below, via Pitchfork.

‘Get Free’ appears on Free the Universe, out November 6 on Diplo’s Mad Decent records. As part of Carnival Weekend, Monday’s Red Bull Music Academy features the Major Lazer Soundsystem with guests Sean Paul, Dre Skull, Machel Montano and Nicky da B; plus David Rodigan, Lunice, Hudson Mohawke, Doc Daneeka, Mele b2b Lil Silva and Raf Riley.
