A while back we reported the excellent news that post-punk tricksters Devo had recorded a song about Mitt Romney’s dog.
The dog in question, Seamus, reportedly spent 12 hours in a roof rack-mounted kennel during a Romney family holiday. The incident has since been picked up on as evidence of the Republican Presidential hopeful’s general lack of empathy, and Devo aren’t the only ones to address the issue in musical form.
You can listen to their effort, ‘Don’t Roof Rack Me, Bro!’, below [via Consequence Of Sound]. It’s a typically jaunty affair, though its political intent isn’t too far from the surface: ”Seamus, Seamus, please come back / Your former master is on the attack”.
