Rapid-fire meets half-cocked on this new collaborative joint between Twista and Juicy J.

The pair certainly make an odd couple. Twista, last encountered around these parts being comprehensively dismantled by Nightwave, has built a reputation on his impossibly fast, scattershot flow. Juicy, meanwhile, is the crown prince of syrupy Houston hip-hop, and a master of the lilting nursery rhyme cadence.

New cut ‘Yo Bitch Chose Me’ brings the two into productive proximity. Musically, we’re talking the sort of swoonsome Cadillac music that Big K.R.I.T’s spent the last year making his own. Juicy J’s verse, unsurprisingly, is heavy on cars and curves; Twista’s volley of syllables, meanwhile, is pure surface dazzle.

‘Yo Bitch Chose’ Me’ will appear on Twista’s forthcoming RELOADED mixtape. An album is also expected before the end of the year.
