The Brick Lane Music Festival is one of our favourite early Autumn fixtures, and this year’s line-up is no exception.
On September 15-16, the Big Chill Bar, Vibe Bar and Cafe 1001 will combine forces for a free knees-up. Skewed beatmaker Om Unit will be topping the bill in Cafe 1001, and his Tempo Clash compadre Kutmah will also be making an appearance. Drum’n’bass DJ Ray Keith, Urban Nerds’ Daddy Nature and resident DJs will also be in the area.
Vibe Bar, meanwhile, will be rolling out the carpet for the honourable David Rodigan MBE. His bill will host Swamp81 kingpin Loefah, and The Heatwave and Donaeo will also be bringing some good-time cheer. Staunch Sundays, The Magic House Experience, Rose Windross and Rattus Rattus will also be along. The Big Chill Bar, meanwhile, will welcome the likes of DJ MK, Thristian from the Boiler Room, Moxie and DJ Rags.
The fun runs from 2.00pm until 1.00am each day – nip to each venue’s respective website for further details of events and timings.
