Dubstep original Skream has announced support for his much-anticipated Skreamizm night at London’s Electric Brixton this November.
Part of a larger Skreamizm tour, the loose concept of the show – which shares its name with the producer’s regular Skreamizm EP series on the Tempa label – is to promote a “back-to-basics approach: a dark room, a massive soundsystem, an extended set and a focus firmly on the music”, seemingly with the aesthetic of seminal dubstep night FWD>> in mind.
We now know the support for the London show: joining Skream on the decks will be drum’n’bass legend Goldie – whose Timeless recently featured on FACT’s best albums of the 1990s countdown – much-hyped mystery man Route 94, disco and boogie aficionado Krystal Klear, and Skream’s older brother Hijak.
