Last week, the annual Barclaycard Mercury Music Prize announced its nominees for 2012.

2012 is, of course, the first year of the new look Mercury’s, which includes a series of live shows from artists on the shortlist as well as the awards ceremony itself. The first of these shows has now been announced, and features Jessie Ware (above, nominated for Devotion), Lianne La Havas (nominated for Is Your Love Big Enough?) and Field Music (Plumb).

The show will be held at the LSO St. Lukes centre in London next Wednesday, September 26, and fans will be able to gain entry by ballot – plus a £10 donation to War Child. To apply for tickets, click here [via Clash], and to read the full run-down of who’s up for 2012’s Mercury Prize, click here.
