Bromance Records, the playpen of Brodinski and Manu Barron, have welcomed two typically technicolour acts into their stable.
Bromance are barely ten months old, but they’ve already notched up exclusive releases from the likes of G. Vump, Gestaffelstein and, entertainingly, Evil Nine and Danny Brown. The forthcoming Bromance #5 EP features a track apiece from Jacques Lu Cont and Monsieur Monseiur, and it’s one of the label’s brightest and boldest offerings to date.
Jacques Lu Cont, of course, is the principal alias of electro titan Stuart Price. He’s racked up the odd major hit (‘Jacques Your Body’, as Les Rhythmes Digitales) and mixed one of the earliest instalments of FabricLive, and his behind-the-desk work for the likes of Madonna, The Killers and Scissor Sisters has probably done wonders for his air-mile count too. For all the jetsetting, the antsy, jacking ‘In The Night’ shows that Price is still throughly well acquainted with the dancefloor. French electro duo Monsieur Monsieur, meanwhile, are a greener proposition, and make their debut with the robust ‘Arym’.
FACT have an exclusive stream of the EP below. Bromance #5 is due on September 24 – further info is available on the Bromance site.
