Download the slinky 'LET'S KISS/SUNDAY MORNING MIX' from Chromatics chief Johnny Jewel

Italians Do It Better boss Johnny Jewel has posted up a beguiling mix for download.

The ‘LET’S KISS/SUNDAY MORNING MIX’ set is taken from Jewel’s appearance on Making Time Radio. The interview portion of the show has been expurgated from the mix, leaving 45 minutes of alternately glitzy and gloomy mood music. In Jewel’s words, the session was compiled “this morning at home with a space echo & holy grail for you while having breakfast”. It also comes augmented with a few extra tracks not available on the original mix.

Nico, Tangerine Dream, Tim Thaler and Handel all make the cut. There’s a glut of Jewel material too: Symmetry’s ‘Jackie’s Eyes’ and an unreleased cover of Sonic Youth’s ‘Shadow Of A Doubt’ by Jewel’s other band Farah both feature.
