LV and Joshua Idehen, the alchemic combination behind last year’s straight-up modern classic Routes, meet again on a new remix.

Earlier this year, LV pulled together a peppy remix of Idehen’s Benin City project. This time around, the London-based production trio have gone to work on ‘Long Haul’, a track from the poet’s latest outfit Maze City.

As XLR8R report, Maze Hill is the union of Idehen, producer Andy Highmore and vocalist Holly Bectic. LV reimagine ‘Long Haul’ as a spectral piece of broken beat, full of crystalline synth washes and winking arpeggio runs.

Maze Hill’s Long Haul EP will drop on October 29 on Wah Wah 45s. LV, meanwhile, have just released Afrocentric new album Sebenza.
