Following the announcement of Baaeur’s ‘Dum Dum’ comes news of another LuckyMe release: the Billboard EP, by long-standing LuckyMe affiliate S-Type. 

S-Type has been in the studio with Liverpool starlet Mele of late, and it’s a pairing that makes sense: like Mele, S-Type’s a big fan of Southern rap snare rolls and hi-hats, but unlike a lot of people jumping on that particular bandwagon, he actually gets it – lead track ‘Billboard’ is driven by larger than live synth melodies, as dramatic as the best Lex Luger and Mike Will productions, but with the same classic feel as sample-heavy Three 6 Mafia cuts like ‘Popping my Colour’.
