‘USSR’, a free-for-download cut from Werk Discs’ scruffy prodigy Lukid, has got a warped new clip.

‘USSR’ is plucked from Lukid’s forthcoming new LP Lonely At The Top. The album is a knotty, complicated record, veering abruptly from featherweight ambient miniatures to grotty eski send-offs. ‘USSR’ is one of the album’s peppier moments, but, shot through with nuclear winter paranoia, it’s also one of its creepiest. Nic Hamilton’s clip is a disorientating video collage of flashing lights, primitive military consoles, and some properly gruesome raving.

Lonely At The Top is out on October 22. You can read our recent natter with Lukid here.
