The MPC-wielding hip-hop producer is no stranger to bass-fueled aggression, but the abrasiveness he opts for on ‘Runway Bass’ is a new development. There appears to be a jumpy beat and some interesting synth jags, but nearly all is lost under the airborne sawtooth bass, the type of wobble favored in the land of brostep.
