The grimy video belies the gently massaged house of the London producer’s newest track.

A1 Bassline’s ‘Breakaway’ is an understated track, all filtered synth melodies and four-on-the-floor shuffle. The video, however, is grimy and violent, like a documentary about the young hooligans of South England. Directed by TOMISOKREALLY, the clip has the documentary realism of a VHS home video and the menace of being in the wrong part of town.
