The interview with the controversial Guns N’ Roses frontman is just as bizarre as you’d imagine.
A bejeweled Axl Rose, who looks each of his 50 hard-lived years, is a bit more reserved than he was in his late 80s hey-day. Rose speaks with Kimmel about being a manager at Tower Records, not regretting his cornrows, and who he supports in the presidential election (Obama, but he’s probably not voting).
Fun facts from the interview: Rose taunts neighborhood parents with his “Halloween tree” and hangs Oscar Wilde quotes in his house. The latest incarnation of Guns N’ Roses, which is basically Rose and whoever answered the flyer in the guitar shop, begins a twelve night residency at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas, beginning on October 31.
