Rolling Stones partner with WWE for Pay-Per-View event, play Parisian warm-up gig

Don’t have £11,000 lying around? World Wrestling Entertainment is here to help.

As Consequence of Sound reports (citing a Hollywood Reporter article), The Rolling Stones have tagged World Wrestling Entertainment to distribute the band’s December 15 concert at Newark’s Prudential Center as a live pay-per-view event entitled “One More Shot.”

Global production conglomerate Endemol will “co-manage the international digital rights” alongside the band and are “collaborating on plans that will allow fans unprecedented interaction with the ’50 and Counting’ tour experience,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The legendary rockers performed live for the first time in five years last night for an audience of about 600 people at Paris’ Le Trabendo club, according to Spin. The setlist was predictably full of classics, including an encore of ‘Jumping Jack Flash’ and ‘Brown Sugar.’ Watch a pit-shot video of ‘Shattered’ below.
