Kieran ‘Four Tet’ Hebden – previously responsibly for vintage remixes of The xx’s ‘VCR’ and, more recently, ‘Angels’ – has been given the once-over by Jamie xx. 

Evidently taking some time out from touring with The xx, the producer has taken on Hebden’s ‘Lion’, plucked from the recent Pink collection. The remix is a much gentler proposition than Four Tet’s original, stuffed with analgesic synth washes and swung drum programming that intermittently flits from the recesses to forefront of the mix.
