Sydney’s Eugene Hector is joining the class of prolific producers who can maintain a musical identity (and in his case, several such identities) despite releasing a large volume of material.

Out November 5 via his recently-launched Bandcamp, the four-track Westernzone is a gurgling, breakbeat-heavy offering and one of Hector’s most immediate efforts yet. Mostly insomnia-fueled takes on house and techno mutations, the sonic outlier is the sinister, chop-and-screw groove of ‘Lowdope.’ Stream the entire EP below.
