The latest offering from Samo Sound Boy and Jerome LOL’s imprint comes from an elusive source.

RIP Tribute follows the shadowy DJ Funeral’s Last Breath, released this time last year on Body High. As his name suggests, DJ Funeral is fixated on the macabre sides of club music, with Baltimore-style breakbeats and horror film synth work.

From the gothic arpeggios of the title track to the ominous echoes of ‘Last Breakfast’, Funeral’s nighttime aesthetic underscores some seriously frenetic, blood-pumping rhythms. A limited edition of 100 CD-Rs sold out, but the EP will be available digitally November 13. Preview it below.
