As Stereogum reports, Fauxasis is working on their sophomore album.

Beady Eye is comprised of Liam Gallagher, guitarists Gem Archer and Andy Bell, and percussionist Chris Sharrock (basically, Oasis less Noel). Liam and co. take to Facebook to announce that “There’s a new record on the way! Back in the studio as of today with producer Dave Sitek.”

Considering the straight-forward, Beatles-reverent sound that Oasis and Beady Eye have made a career of turning out, the chose of Sitek as producer is an intriguing one. The TV on the Radio member has remixed everyone from How to destroy angels_ to Usher and recently launched his Federal Prism imprint.
