Purity Ring’s gloomy siren song receives an uneasy video treatment.

‘Lofticries’ weaves a series of increasingly surreal encounters with an unblinking tracking shot, giving the clip a one-take effect. The video is directed by AG Rojas, who also crafted Jack White’s ‘Sixteen Saltines’ and Spiritualized’s ‘Hey Jane’. While not as high concept as the video for ‘Fineshrine’, it’s an arresting visual none the less.

The shimmering ‘Lofticries’ appears on Purity Ring’s debut Shrines. The band will tour North America early next year with Brooklyn band Young Magic.
