The final album from the gangsta rap crooner is due out in the first half of 2013.
A cache of unreleased music from the singer, who died of complications from strokes in 2011, will be released early next year through a deal between Seven Arts Music and United Media and Music Group. The label also announced a new album from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
“After the success of our first release with DMX, we are thrilled to announce such an auspicious line-up of some of the greatest talents in the hip-hop world,” said Seven Arts Music executive David Michery. “We are very much looking forward to working with BTH on their new album and believe that Nate Dogg’s talents shine in this posthumous tribute.”
Nate Dogg: It’s A Wonderful Life will feature collaborations with Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige. Nate Dogg, born Nathaniel Hale, was the unforgettable voice behind countless West Coast anthems including ‘Regulate’, ‘Ain’t No Fun (If the Homies Can’t Have None)’, ‘The Next Episode’ and ‘Where I Wanna Be’.
