BBC 6Music premiered a new mix by Massive Attack‘s Daddy G on their 6Mix show last night.

The first mix by G to be publicly aired since 2004’s DJ-Kicks CD, its an hour-long selection rooted in quality dub-reggae and dancehall, but also encompassing tracks by the likes of Björk and Isaac Hayes. Listen via the Soundcloud player below.

A mix from Massive’s 3D (Robert Del Naja) is set to follow soon. Last week Del Naja announced a new project, Battle Box, that will debut with a special 12″ released through The Vinyl Factory and featuring Elbow’s Guy Garvey, as well as a remix by Hemlock’s Guy Andrews.
