Psych-pop conceptualists Prince Rama share the spotlight with their fans.
The Brooklyn duo’s Ten Hits For The End Of The World LP found Taraka and Nimai Larson recording ten tracks under ten very different fictional aliases. From “Rage Peace” came the Middle Eastern-tinged grunge cut ‘So Destroyed’. The footage for the song’s video was compiled using submissions from a dance contest and edited by Nimai Larson.
Among the selections: a horse-headed DJ, cats and catsuits, and a trapeze dancer; watch the video below. Emeralds’ Mark McGuire recently crafted a synth-heavy and angst-light version of the song. Prince Rama hits the road for a brief US tour tomorrow; those dates are below.
