As Kid Smpl, Seattle producer Joey Butler joins the growing ranks of bedroom producers exploring syrupy, bass-heavy atmospheric music. His debut Skylight LP was recently released by Hush Hush Records, a new label started up this year by KEXP DJ Alex Ruder.
