Late last year, Eno toasted the release of his LUX LP for Warp with a ‘Day Of Light’.
As reported, the event was designed to explore different ways of representing the “play of light”. Over the course of four “performances” throughout November 17, users were invited to submit photos and images showing light at work in different ways. These images were subsequently whittled down, arranged and broadcast by Eno and a team of helpers in real time.
If you missed it, a short video document of the event has now been uploaded by Warp. To be honest, you probably had to be there – to the non-attendee, the results feel a little like one of those well-meaning but ultimately jejune montages already clogging up the old Youtubes. Still, if you wish to relive the Day Of Light, you can do so below courtesy of Warp.
