Depeche Mode have announced full details of their latest album and the follow-up to 2009’s Sounds of the Universe.
Staggering the news like the best of them, we aleady knew that the album – Depeche’s thirteenth in total – was due this Spring, would be released through Columbia, and “had a similar vibe to [past albums] Violator and Songs of Faith and Devotion.” We now know that the album is titled Delta Machine, and will be released on March 26. The first single, ‘Heaven’, will be released with remixes by Matthew Dear / Audion (the mix is billed as a collaboration between both Dear’s aliases), Blawan, Owlle and Steps to Heaven, and a deluxe edition of the album will feature four extra tracks, plus a 28-page photo book [via Pitchfork].
