Deep house godfather Ron Trent will head Need2Soul’s call next month, spinning an all-night set at London’s Shoreditch Studios. 

With two decades of trendsetting under his belt, Trent is a bona fide house music legend. As boss of Prescription Records, the Chicago native helped cultivate one of the city’s most esteemed house music canons. Working with Chez Damier and as a solo artist, he’s also done more than most to assimilate Afrobeat, jazz, and soul into the US house music idiom. As anyone who’s been to an African Blues or African HiFi party is well aware, Trent knows what he’s doing – expect a bracing 7 hour set from the veteran selector.
