Once again, house trailblazer Levon Vincent has conjured a 12″ out of thin air.

Back in December, the New York native surprised us with the sudden release of the three-track Stereo Systems EP on his pet Novel Sound imprint. As Juno Plus report, Vincent’s continuing in the same vein, rush announcing new EP NS-08 without fuss or fanfare.

The four track collection runs the gamut from clanging oddball house(‘People’) through to rich disco -indebted fare (‘DJSF II’, a nominal sequel to Vincent’s 2009 calling card ‘Double Jointed Sex Freak’). As per its predecessor, NS-08 also features original material previously heard on Vincent’s Fabric 63 CD. In this instance, ‘Rainstorm II’ is the familiar friend.

NS-08 will be available through Rubadub from tomorrow.
