We Fear Silence have teamed up with Blueprint to assemble four undisputed heavyweights for a night of techno on Saturday February 16.
Dutch techno producer Speedy J has had a notable impact on the development of 1990s techno: 1992’s Pullover EP is a minimal touchstone, and releases for Plus 8, Warp and NovaMute have cemented his reputations as one of the genre’s big European innovators. He’ll be joined by UK techno legend Regis, he of British Murder Boys/Sandwell District/Downwards fame – expect a highly focused exercise in dark, precise techno. Blueprint Records supremo James Ruskin will also helps fill a bill of titans, flexing muscles honed over near two decades of involvement in the homegrown techno scene. Mute boss, The Normal/Silicon Teens mastermind and all-round hero Daniel Miller completes the bill.
The night runs from 10.00pm until 6.00am on Saturday February 16 at Cable. Tickets and further information are available here.
