The Bristol pair return with their first official release since their 2010 EP.
The semi-anonymous duo released the Velvet Collection EP back in 2010 via Night Slugs. The offering was rife with “‘80s-esque, sexually-charged sleaze,” from the track titles (‘Booty Slammer’, etc.) on down.
On March 4, Velour will release ‘Speedway/Dial’ on Bashmore’s Broadwalk Records. ‘Speedway’ follows the lead of ‘Booty Slammer,’ with a sweeping bit of Linn-n-synth driving music. ‘Dial’ is the more playful of the two, with its silky “don’t touch that dial” admonitions.
Stream both cuts below. In addition, Velour has shared their skittering remix of ‘Fallin’ Love,’ the first single from the elusive, too-good-to-be-true duo BenZel.
