The resurgent pop star reveals some details about his forthcoming Timbaland-produced album.
With the release of The 20/20 Experience a little more than a month away, Justin Timberlake has shared the cover art and tracklist for his long-awaited third album. For the artwork, JT takes the 20/20 vision metaphor literally and places himself behind a phoropter (yes, we had to look that one up).
Along with polarizing lead single ‘Suit & Tie,’ the album includes both ‘Pusher Love Girl’ and ‘That Girl,’ the two songs he premiered over Super Bowl weekend. As for the other songs, the titles forgo the whispered entreaties of Justified and the compound nounage of FutureSex / LoveSounds for more straightforward imagery: ‘Strawberry Bubblegum,’ ‘Tunnel Vision,’ ‘Blue Ocean Floor,’ etc.
The David Fincher-directed video for ‘Suit & Tie’ is expected soon. JT has a busy Grammy night planned: along with a performance at the awards ceremony, he has said the “20/20 Experience begins” at a gig at the Hollywood Palladium later that night.
