The fifth edition of Croatia’s Soundwave Festival boasts as soulful and sun-drenched a bill as ever.

Ninja Tune’s Bonobo will top the bill with a lush, sweeping live set. With new album The North Borders imminent, expect Simon Green’s electronica/neo-soul project to fit the surroundings like a glove. Veteran rapper DOOM will be stopping by with mask in tow, rattling through a greatest hits set stuffed with punchlines and non-sequiters. Crossover jazz pianist Robert Glasper will bring along his Experiment project, and well-travelled beatmaker and bandleader Quantic will perform live with cumbia crew Ondatropica. More danceable fare will arrive courtesy of Hoya:Hoya’s Illum Sphere and Jon K, head-snapper Om Unit, ‘No More’ producer Eliphino and Kidkanevil. Other acts on the bill include Ghostpoet, Submotion Orchestra, Com Truise, Kelpe and Kutmah.
