The New York ambient experimenter returns with ‘Pacing’, a song that finds a perfect marriage between a gentle piano melody and the layers of oblique vocal loops that have come to define her work.

Pacing is out on March 5 via Seattle’s Suicide Squeeze. Previously, Barwick had found a home on Sufjan Stevens’ Asthmatic Kitty imprint, releasing her 2011 album The Magic Place and last year’s collaborative album with Helado Negro as OMBRE. [via Stereogum]
