Ninja Tune resident Bonobo taps up soul’s high priestess for a twinkling new track, taken from his impending fifth album The North Borders. 

‘Heaven For A Sinner’ is sprung from the same seed as recent track ‘Cirrus’. It’s a rich, shimmering cut in a minor key, and suits Badu’s honeyed croon down to the ground.

Other guests lined up for the album include DVA collaborator Cornelia, Grey Reverend and Szjerdene. The North Borders is out on April 1 on Ninja Tune. Badu, meanwhile, was recently repurposed by Seattle duo TheeSatisfaction on the free, fine THEESatisfaction Loves Erykah Badu EP. [via Pinboard]
