The trial over the death of Brick Squad member Slim Dunkin started yesterday in Atlanta. 

Best friend of Waka Flocka Flame, and a member of Brick Squad alongside Gucci Mane, Lex Lugar, Zaytoven and more, Dunkin was fatally shot on December 16 after a dispute at a local recording studio. Police reports at the time suggested that the incident started as a dispute over a piece of candy and escalated into a fist fight. Local rapper Young Vito, 24, was charged with murder, and has been held without bond since January 2012.
