Tupac’s estate will be managed by Jampol Artist Management; Afeni Shakur promises more posthumous releases.

Billboard reports that Jampol Artist Management, the company that handles the legacy licensing of Michael Jackson, Janis Joplin, The Doors, Otis Redding and more, will do the same for the late rapper.

Shakur’s mother, Afeni Shakur, said in a statement, “I believe it is our responsibility to make sure that Tupac’s entire body of work is made available for his fans. My son left many incomplete pieces and even more unfinished ideas. Using the blueprints he gave us, I am committed to fulfilling this duty.”

Jampol Artist Management will oversee licensing, apparel and other ventures in all media as it relates to Shakur’s music, film, name and likeness. The executive who first signed Tupac, Tom Whalley, will be working with Jampol on the effort.

Afeni Shakur adds that Jampol “will find innovative ways to continue to keep his music, his message, and his legacy alive.” Hopefully, that will not include any more Ford advertisements or holograms.
