The Warehouse Project’s Parklife Weekender has announced its final batch of new artists.
The festival – which, it’s now been confirmed, will take place at Manchester’s Heaton Park – will welcome the ever-busy Boddika. The producer is one of those rare artists who’s both revered – his work with Instra:Mental is some of the most important in contemporary d’n’b – and, thanks to his collaborations with Joy O and his efforts as head of Nonplus, relevant. He’ll be jointed by Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, who will showcase his indie-leaning electro with a live set and a DJ session. Baauer, your great aunt’s favourite new producer thank to the ‘Harlem Shake’, will be, y’know, playing the ‘Harlem Shake’. Breakbot and The Temper Trap have also been added to the bill.
The newbies join the likes of Kerri Chandler, TNGHT, Ben UFO, Jessie Ware, Maya Jane Coles, Derrick Carter, Hot Natured, Benga, Joey Bada$$, DJ EZ, Joker, Zebra Katz, Jackmaster, Action Bronson, Todd Terje & Lindstrom, Martyn, Scuba, Julio Bashmore and Lone. FACT will also helm a stage, bringing along Disclosure, Four Tet, AlunaGeorge, Daphni, Danny Brown, John Talabot, Krystal Klear, Cyril Hahn and Lapalux for the ride.
Parklife will run from June 8-9 in Manchester – head here for tickets and further information.
