The eclectic cratedigger and the lo-fi prodigy offer a new collaboration.

Krista showcases the vocal and guitar talents of Vex Ruffin with “the rest by James Pants.” The project is executive produced by Stones Throw boss Peanut Butter Wolf, who has deep ties to both artists. Stream both songs below; the single is available now via Stones Throw.

For now, the project is limited to a (possibly one-off) single. A-side ‘Space Tom Test’ is a new waver with the fuzzy pop craft of Ruffin’s Eulogy EP, while the particularly warped jam sesh ‘I Told U Man, I Carry A Gun’ is evocative of the one-time FACT mixer‘s amalgamation creations.
